Every Spring the Olympic hall in Hamar is home to one if the biggest hunting and fishing shows in Norway. The hall itself is a very known landmark as the form is based on the shape of the Viking ships of ancient times.

This year the Villmarksliv show was held over the weekend of the 10th and 11th of May. Part of the show consists of a fly tiers panel at which visitors get a chance to look at, and learn from, some of the best tiers in the country. Partridge Pro team member Thomas Züllich accompanied by Partridge Pro Guide, Jon Strand, was at the show and had a long weekend to tie many a flies.

Thomas said, 'The interest was huge. It is a very interesting show as we get in contact with a broad spectrum of fishermen. Most of them fish with flies up here in the north, but the philosophies and methods are quite diverse. The discussions were very inspiring, diverse and of high quality. Jon and myself had a great time and are looking forward to next year already. A special thanks must also be given to Henning Moen and the team at Villmarksliv for putting this together and giving us the chance to showcase what we do.'
