This weeks Fly Friday is from PRO-Team member Allan Liddle and he has tied his variation of an Ian Gordon fly called, 'The Swallow'.
This is one of Ian's favourite patterns for early Spring which he feels isn't truly upon us until the arrival of the migrating swallows (hence the name), but i'm sure it would work throughout the season in varying sizes and styles from Intruder, through tubes, doubles and even small singles (especially in low water).
I know it's not exactly as Ian ties it and i hope he approves of the slight alterations i've made to give a little bit more flash and movement in the wing.
