The SIM fly festival was held in the small mountain village of Castel di Sangro, Italy and was near to the river Sangro which is known to harbor many large trout!

The festival took place in the Italian Museum of fly fishing over the weekend of the 21st and 22nd of June. Jon Strand, one of our newest members of the Partridge PRO-team was there;

'My travel companion Long Nguyen, (also from Norway) and I had a great trip! We very much enjoyed the Italian hospitality and made new friendships! While we were there Long tied classic salmon flies in hand as he had no vise and I tied realistic Danica mayflies. We have both been invited back next year, which will be a great opportunity to demonstrate PARTRIDGE hooks!'
