Here we have a step-by-step process of how to tye a 'Red Tag' by Thomas Zullich.

This is a recipe of medium difficulty and Thomas teaches it in order for students to make efficient and durable dry flies for trout and grayling fishing.

This is a good fly to tye once you have tyed the Griffiths gnat (recipe found here) and before moving on to completing the Klinkhamer Special (recipe found here).

The hook used for the red tag is the Partridge SLD. If this is not available to you, you can use another Dry Fly hook (E1A, L5A, L3A).
