Our 18th Fly Friday is from PRO-Team member Dave Wiltshire. Dave has created this brilliant deep swimming caddis pattern which has a double bead (the second bead is reversed to get a better fit) and has a lead under body too.

This fly will sink pretty fast meaning it is excellent for Trout and Grayling. The hook is a Partridge Czech Nymph Fine and Dave says he tends to use these in either a #14 or a #16.

To recreate this fly you will need:

Thread: Sheer 14/0 brown

Ballast: 2 beads, flat lead under

Rib: Copper wire

Abdomen: Alpaca Fur

Thorax: Grey Squirrel
