Products used in this recipe:
Tie in the oval gold tinsel where the tag will begin. Wind the tinsel forward as many turns as you wish. Leave both waste ends of the tinsel to be wrapped under the floss
The first tail veiling is a brown feather from a Partridge's back. Tie in the feather good side up
Tie in a chatterer feather, good side up, on top of the partridge. [Kingfisher may be substituted for the chatterer.]
At the middle point of the body tie in the oval gold tinsel then form an underbody for the tinsel portion of the body. White UTC 280 thread was used in the photograph
The body veilings are the same brown partridge back feathers used for the tail veiling. Tie in one feather above the body and one below
