The Hook: Partridge Sea Prince Hook CS52,

Size: 1-4

Thread: Sand or clear

Body: Wool Light sand coloured

Claw: Cock pheasant back feather

Legs: Larva lace with crystal hair inserts

Eyes: Dumbell eyes

Clip out top centre pheasant back feather as shown. Coat the feather in varnish or head cement, to form a claw

Tie in the pre-made claw at the tail of the hook

Tie on the eyes, choose the size of eyes for the depth of fishing to be done

Make a large dubbing loop of the wool and spin

Wind the dubbing loop tightly on to the hook shank to form the body

Clip the top of the body flat. Using a dubbing brush or an old tooth brush comb the wool fibres out too both sides of the hook until you have a nice tight flat body

Now turn the hook USD and then clip the body on the underside of the hook
