The line to choose when you need to cast big bulky flies or when faced with fi shing into the teeth of a gale. The two tier front taper (2’& 4’) and short head design (49.5’) gives tremendous impetus to the leader literally driving the fl y forward. The presentation is not delicate but it gets the fl y to the fish! The Payload is available as a fl oating line in a pale cream colour. As with the other Partridge lines, the rear taper runs into the continuous thin running line. This gives you knot free transfer
from flyline to backing, vital for powerful fish.
