  DRESSING:

Steps 1:
- Tie in some white kid goat

  Steps 2:
- Tie in 12 strands of Pearl Krystal Flash about 1/2 in longer then the white kid goat.

Step 3
- Tie in some red kid goat

  Step 4
- Tie in some red buck tail

Step 5
- Tie on silver diamond braid and red fl chenille and apply some clear coat before wrapping body.

Step 6
- Wrap the body with the red chenille going under away from you and tie off near head.

  Step 6
- Wrap the silver diamond braid the same way to make the rib, add a little clear coat to strengthen (optional).

Step 7
- Tie on a throat hackle of red kid goat and red kid goat over the back.

Step 8
- Tie on some red fine buck tail over the back.

  Step 9
- Tie on a length of silver diamond braid as shown.

Step 10
-
Wrap the silver diamond braid tightly under and over the head and wrap to the eye and back to the top of the head.

  Step 11
- Wrap on black thread shaping the head until all the silver is not showing, whip finish and apply a generous amount of flex seal and let dry.

Step 12
After the flex seal is dry with a small paint brush pain on some 2 part epoxy and let dry. The epoxy when dry will let thewhite paint flow into a nice round eye. This step is very important for a professional look.

  Step 13
- With the end of a cut off paint brush or something that suits the job, dip dot on some white eye balls, and let dry.

Step 14
- Using a smaller end dip dot on the black centers and let dry.

Step 15
- Now apply a thin coat of 2 part epoxy and let dry, I recommend three coats.

The last fly is tied on a 5/0 hook, 1/0. 2/0, and some time 3/0s are used to fish for steelhead and is very productive hear in B.C. Canada. the Scarlett Dancer tied on 4/0s and 5/0 is used when fishing for large Chinook Salmon that can go up to 100 lbs.

I have also hooked many rainbows, and Bull trout with the 1/0 Scarlett Dancer

Good luck to all, please e-mail me at bigredfly@gmail - if you e-mail at bigredflybox@msn.com I will send you an invite to get onto my group site that has all my flies and pictures of some of the Salmon and steelhead taken on these flies.

Take care, tight lines. Don
