Fly Friday #43

The last Fly Friday of the month is from PRO-Team member Thomas Zullich and is the Snowshoe Buzzer.

My variation of the Shipmans Buzzer originated by Dave Shipman. This pattern is meant to imitate two small winged insects of the Chronomidae family. These little fellows hatch in masses on stillwaters and reservoirs.

They swarm in clouds and are easy to identify by the bussing noise they make. The imitation is one of the easiest patterns to tie, but don't be fooled by it´s simplicity.

It is really a good fish catcher even when nothing seems to work.
